I can't make the nutrition and goal setting session. Can I still do the Challenge??
YES. Totally fine - best to be there in person but we can book you in to a catchup session to fill you in.
I can't make the scheduled scan dates. Can I still do the Challenge??
YES. We have the Fit 3D scanner on site and can get you booked in on a separate date.
Please let us know in advance.
I am new to exercise / haven't exercised for a long time, will I be ok to join the Challenge?
YES! Our Challenges are for all fitness and skill levels.
I am vegetarian / vegan / Pescatarian / Keto / on a budget / have a family to cook for / have food allergies....
does the meal plan provide bespoke meals and will it work for my needs?
YES. Every meal plan is bespoke and customised for you.
Can non-members join the challenge just for the 6 weeks?
YES! Absolutely
I don't have the money to pay up front, is there a payment plan option?
YES. T's & C's apply. Non-refundable deposit $100 + a $20 admin fee needs to be paid to register,
then the remainder split over 5 weekly payments.
Are all sessions compulsory? What if I can't make the group sessions?
NO. No sessions are compulsory. We help you build your exercise plan to ensure that you have a programme that works with your schedule. If you can't make the group sessions, we'll find a replacement workout and time and lock that in to your personal weekly exercise schedule.
Are there weights in the programme?
Ideally, YES. But it's not a mandatory part of the Challenge. We'll work with you to build a plan that best suits you, your fitness and skill level. Many of our challengers choose to stick with classes and cardio for their first Challenge or two while they get used to exercise and build confidence in the gym.
I have an injury and can't do XXXX or XXXX, can I still do the challenge?
YES. If you are injured but have the green light from your physio or doctor to do exercise we can help build a bespoke exercise plan to ensure that you still get results.
Are there showers at the gym?
YES.
Is there free car parking at the gym?
YES! There is ample free parking behind our building off Gladstone Road.

6 WEEK CHALLENGE WINNER APRIL 2021

"For years food has been a big part of my life. Self-employment struggles & the associated stress that came with it & to be honest not the best eating habits saw my late 20’s, all of my 30’s & most of my 40’s in a battle between XL, XXL & ultimately XXXL. So back in 2012 I decided to hit the gym. The gym was great, the fitness, box fit classes especially were exactly what I needed, & things started to happen, fitness wise but I didn’t change my eating habits. Fast forward to 2017 everything I had done in my life culminated in a heart attack after a boxfit class. I was rushed to hospital for an emergency stent procedure then ICU for 3 days.
After the heart attack I had about a year of discipline but still binge drank, & in October 2020 I hit 127kgs & I realised I am well on my way to another heart event… my knees hurt, I slept like sh!t, had a sleep apnoea machine to stop my snoring, it was hard to tie my shoes & I felt tired all the time. I decided I had to change my ways for good. So for a few weeks I didn’t really know what I was doing, but managed to drop 5 kgs. Wife was also looking to step things up & said next time SCF was running another challenge we are going to do it. I was sceptical at the time but thought why not. I was still little sceptical/negative until Shane & Luke said something that resonated like nothing else, “you can’t out train a poor diet” simple but true. All my adult life was that, coupled with stress, mental health, helping look after my Mum as she slowly died of cancer over 2 years sore me take comfort in food & try & forget things through alcohol.
To my surprise the food was amazing, had you eating 5 times per day & an awesome variety to choose from. The important key is you need to plan, get to the super market, pre-purchase all the food you need for the coming week & prep so its already for you to attack the day. The group sessions offer great variety from gym circuits, amraps, treks & sand dune climbing culminating in a legendary Rah Fit session. The team at Shane Cameron Fitness are awesome! Great support, motivation, someone to talk too if you need too. Luke the Nutritionist is a great communicator, you just need to ask lots of questions & reach out if you are not sure about anything.
In the end I decided to do 3 consecutive challenges, why? Because it worked. In total I have lost 27.6kgs since starting the Challenge (32.6 in total) & feel amazing. Once you decide you want to improve your physical wellbeing all you need to do is commit, turn up, participate & your mental health will naturally follow. I now understand more about food & can control the portions to what I need not what I want."

- Gone from XXXL clothing to L
- Lost over a metre in fat around my mid-section
- Sleep quality has improved and snoring has pretty much stopped!

- I am way more flexible can bring my foot up to do up my shoelaces
- Way more energy
- My heart medication has been reduced
- All my readings from the Fit 3D scan almost have me in the green zone.
